Hero??
What is a hero? Even now I am listening to Hero of War by Rise Against. It puts a a question into my mind. What is a hero, as such can be described?
I have come to the conclusion that the definition of a hero is rather hard to come by. They are the ones who refuse to fire against the helpless, who opt to save lives above all else. They are the ones who put morality and good above all else. They care not about earthly things, only seeking to do what is right. They will not kill, even if they need to they will tear themselves up about it.
They are not afraid to break down earthly barriers and laws if that is what they need to do. And lastly, forever they are convinced that they could have done more to help/save.
Tell me, how many people do you know like this? Completely selfless, none I guess. Its something that comes hard to us, the person who is as likely to help their enemy as their child, simply because they are compelled by something to, even though they cringe in the process. Those poor, poor people who chase glory and the fabled heroism, they often fail. Why may you ask, because they are often under the impression that their superiors are the ones who give out what is right and wrong, and follow blindly in their wake. It isn't until they are faced with the reality of just what they did that they finally understand just what the feeling of mortality is.Heroism is something with the weight of the world, it is a heavy burden to bear. However still, those who actually achieve this station are those with the least amount of recognition
