Possibly my favorite book of all time The Deed Of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon is an amazing world building high fantasy book. Yeah, the trilogy in one volume is kind of thick, but I was able to finish it in due time--- two days in fact. It is pretty gritty and bleak at times but the author also gives this feel of legend that makes it work well and not too depressing.
Through the Faerie Glass by Kenny Klein, a really resource for those trying to freak out, amaze or annoy people with strange theories about the fair folk. It was totally and utterly believable to me, and I am planning to purchase a copy for my own enjoyment as well as future reference.
The Hollow People by Brian Keaney. It was a bit depressing, but I literaly could not put it down and finished it in a single sitting.
The Meq by Steve Cash. This book is the first in a trilogy, well thought out and well written.
NOTE: I will be continuing to add to this page, as i have lists of books that I love, but cannot possibly choose from. Please feel free to give me any recommendations, as I have great difficulty finding new books in the particular genres I read, since the books I read generally come from the public library.
with many thanks
